Scott Mooney

Scott is a freelance commercial Illustrator and print-maker who lives in Guelph, Ontario, with his lovely and inspirational wife, Trina, and their Shetland Sheepdogs. Scott's love of images and stories spans his whole life, but began to gel in to a career in at the University of Guelph where he received his Bachelors degree in Fine Art and launched his illustration business in 1995. Scott designs logos and illustrates for magazines, advertising, book covers, comics and posters (including the Hillside Music Festival poster for both 2002 and 2003). His major illustration influences come from the exciting and many-faceted world of comics and animation, as well as TV and movies. He approaches Illustrations not as decorations but as fantastic dreams to envelop his own and the viewer's imagination: "ultimate communication happens when the message is not only seen or heard but also swallowed into the mind to inhabit one's inner world."
